excitement and adventure on the water. We'll spend the first day in kayaks, learning the basics in a protected harbor, then venture out into an even more exciting locale the second day.
On the third day, we will switch to stand-up paddleboards, the newest on-water craze, for some touring and hopefully some surfing!
While the focus of each day is on exploration and adventure, there will be plenty of time for swimming, playing games, and (of course) building friendships. After this adventure, you may have a hard time getting your child to give up a life at sea!
Our Sea Kayak and SUP Program is offered in two separate and distinct weeks to allow your child to experience as much of the coast as possible. The July 20 session will explore Boston's North Shore, with possible destinations such as Gloucester, Rockport (including the incomparable Thacher Island), and Manchester-by-the-Sea. The June 29 and Aug. 10 sessions will explore the South Shore, with possible destinations like Boston's Inner Harbor, Hingham, and Cohasset. Sign up for one week, or double your fun and choose both!
The Sea Kayak and SUP Program meets each day at our Charles Street Paddling Store in Newton and then travels by van to the day's paddling destination. The program is for kids entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grades and requires no previous paddling experience.
Full-Day Sea Kayak and SUP Program meets for three 8-hour sessions (Monday–Wednesday, 8:30am–4:30pm). The program meets at our Charles Street Paddling Store and travels by van to the day's destination.
$299 includes three days of full-day programming.

Teen Adventure Program
Get your teenager outside this summer with our Teen Adventure Paddling Program from Kendall Square. Enjoy three days of

fun along the Massachusetts coast in kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Your teen will build new skills, see new places, and make new friends!
Our Teen Adventure Program begins with a trip to Marblehead, where we will learn basic and intermediate sea kayak skills while exploring the historic Harbor. After the group has learned the skills necessary to maneuver their kayaks out of the Harbor, we will find a lunch spot on one of the islands. After a break and a swim, we will practice rescues and head home for the day.

The second day we will head south to explore Cohasset. We will head out of the harbor to a tidal current stream, where we can use our newfound kayaking skills to play! Once we are exhausted and happy, we will call it a day.
On the third and final day we will give up our kayaks to try out the exciting new sport of stand-up paddleboarding! Due to the unpredictable nature of the sea, we will choose our final destination based on the forecast of the day. Regardless, we will be sure to find some exciting waters to paddle and surf.
During the program, teens will have plenty of opportunities to learn paddling skills, play games, and enjoy the camaraderie of enthusiastic peers. The program is designed for teens ages 13-16.
Teen Adventure Program meets for three 7.5-hour sessions at our Kendall Square location in Cambridge (Monday–Wednesday, 9:00am–4:30pm). Each day we travel by van to the day's destination.
$299 includes three full days of teen adventure programming for ages 13-16.
