Catering & Food at our
Nahanton Park Location

Food is an excellent companion to paddling, and Charles River Canoe & Kayak is happy to arrange catering from any local restaurant. A selection of our favorites is presented below.
You can arrange the catering yourself (so you can confer directly with the caterer regarding menu selections), or we can make the arrangements: choose one of our Featured Selections (at right) or work with us to plan your menu for a fee of 20% of the food cost (minimum fee $50; food cost includes 6.25% state tax).
All our locations have a waterfront picnic area available for group use. Learn more about picnicking at our Nahanton Park location!
Redbones Barbeque
A very popular Davis Square restaurant serving authentic, downhome-style Southern food. Menu includes standard barbeque favorites like ribs, chicken, pulled pork, and more. See our Featured Selection from Redbones above.
Baker's Best

Panera Bread
Eat-in, take-out, and catering just around the corner from Nahanton Park. Panera offers bakery items, sandwiches, soups, salads, and more.
Fresh City
Wholesome alternatives to fast foods, made with fresh ingredients and prepared fresh-to-order. Sandwiches, stir-fry, burritos, salads, and more. Eat-in, carry-out, or catering.

Finagle-A-Bagel
Eat-in, take-out, and catering just around the corner from Nahanton Park. Finagle-A-Bagel offers bagel sandwiches, soups, and salads in their stores and a simple and inexpensive catering menu.
Catering Payment & Cancellation Policy
  • All food orders require pre-payment in full.
  • Food orders cancelled at least 7 days before the event receive either a refund of the deposit less a 10% registration fee, or a full credit to a store account. This credit does not expire and may be used for instruction, rentals, or purchases at Charles River Canoe & Kayak or Weston Ski Track.
  • For all cancellations made less than 7 days before the event, no refunds or credits will be issued.
