Pool Practice Session
Join us in the warm waters of the Hanscom Air Force Base pool to practice the paddling skills you have been working on this season.
This Pool Practice Time does not include any instruction and is not supervised by our guides. If you are looking for instruction please sign up for one of our Rolling Clinics.
The practice time includes the use of a whitewater boat, or (if space in the pool is available) you can bring your own boat. When you register, please include in the note field whether or not you would like to bring your own boat. If you do bring your own boat it must be thoroughly cleaned or it will not be allowed in the pool. Please call 617-965-5110 for details.
Wetsuit rentals are included at no additional charge. Please specify the size you would like us to bring for you.
Participants should plan to arrive 15 minutes before the practice time is scheduled to begin, because participants arriving late may not be allowed into the pool building.
Pool Practice Session meets for one 3-hour session at Hanscom Air Base in Lexington.
$30 includes three hours of pool time and use of a whitewater kayak (this session does not include instruction).
Registration & Cancellation Policies for Classes, Trips, and Tours
Full payment is due upon registration for a class, clinic, tour, or trip.
For cancellations received 7 days or more before your scheduled activity, we will issue a refund less a 10% registration fee.
For cancellations received less than 7 days before your scheduled activity, we are unable to offer any refunds.
Participants in all activities will be required to sign a waiver of liability. To save time, you can download this waiver and bring it with you.
Classes, clinics, and trips always run unless the weather is extreme.A minimum number of registrants is required for any event to run. If we cancel a trip due to low enrollment, we will provide a full refund.
Pre-Requisites & Requirements. Before signing up for this class, you must have: Previous practice of a wet exit, where you flipped a kayak, removed the sprayskirt, and exited the kayak while underwater.
