Canoe & Kayak Rentals on Friday & Saturday

Get on the water during Waltham Riverfest with a boat rental from Charles River Canoe & Kayak! We will be renting canoes, single kayaks, and double kayaks from the dock at Moody Street Dam in Waltham (right next to Margaritas Restaurant).
Moonlight Tour – Friday, June 11, 7pm
Dusk is a magical time to be on the water, so what could be more blissful than paddling a canoe by moonlight? We push off as the sun sets for an evening of relaxation, good food, and conversation.
From the Moody Street Dam in Waltham (right next to Margaritas Restaurant), we'll explore the flatwater Lakes District of the Charles, the perfect location for this opportunity to unwind.
As the moon rises to light our way, we'll watch herons browsing along the banks and other wildlife settling in for the night. After we anchor for light food and finger desserts by Cafe on the Common in Waltham, non-alcoholic beverages, and dessert, we will return to the boathouse.
On this tour you'll receive a quick introduction to canoeing strokes and learn about the area's rich history. It's a wonderful way to experience Riverfest — the way things used to be!
Three-Hour Tour meets at the Moody Street Dam in Waltham, adjacent to Margarita's Restaurant. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance so we can order food.
$39 includes guiding, canoe rental, food, and beverages.
Registration & Cancellation Policies for Classes, Trips, and Tours
Full payment is due upon registration for a class, clinic, tour, or trip.
For cancellations received 7 days or more before your scheduled activity, we will issue a refund less a 10% registration fee.
For cancellations received less than 7 days before your scheduled activity, we are unable to offer any refunds.
Participants in all activities will be required to sign a waiver of liability. To save time, you can download this waiver and bring it with you.
Tours may be cancelled due to inclement weather at our option, with a full refund given. No refunds will be offered if we decide to hold the tour.A minimum number of registrants is required for any event to run. If we cancel a trip due to low enrollment, we will provide a full refund.
