Every Tuesday night in January and February the Cambridge Sports Union sponsors a 5-kilometer time trial open to all. The race begins at 7:00pm. CSU Sprints - January 13, 2008

Winter Triathlon & Duathlons presented by Channel Multisport
Building on the success of the winter duathlon held last February, winter multisport is back at Weston. We will host three races presented by Channel Multisport: a Winter Triathlon on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 at 8am; a Night Winter Duathlon on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008 at 4pm; and a Winter Duathlon on Sunday, March 2, 2008. The Winter Tri will serve as a Regional World Championship Qualifier, so there will be 2 spots for each age group for athletes wishing to compete for Team USA at the Winter Triathlon World Championships in Germany, 2008.

Channel Multisport will also be holding a winter duathlon training series on Thursday evenings at the Weston Ski Track beginning as the weather permits. Stay tuned for details.

High School XC Ski Races

High School Racing & Training Clinic with Bob Fitzpatrick
Taught by expert instructor Bob Fitzpatrick, this six-session clinic will provide advanced training in skate-ski techniques, including V-2, V-1, double-pole starting, plus classical technique and ski waxing, race strategy, and drills to improve core strength and race speed. The class is designed for new racers and experienced high schoolers alike. Don't miss the Dec. 17 class, which will cover waxing and core strength and doesn't require snow.
