"Race Faster" Intermediate/Advanced Skating Lesson Series

Tuesday Night Sprints
Every Tuesday night in January and February the Cambridge Sports Union sponsors a time trial open to all. The race begins at 7:00pm and will be from 6km to 8km in length. The race is usually finished at 7:30 and will be followed by coaching sessions. Click for a race schedule and results or the CSU Ski Newsletter/Blog. One-time $15 number bib purchase, then race for free with a trail pass.

Winter Triathlon & Duathlon presented by Channel Multisport
Winter multisport returns to Weston in 2009! We will host two races presented by Channel Multisport: Weston Winter Duathlon on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010 at 8am, and the Massachusetts Winter Triathlon on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at 8am.

Ski Orienteering Meet presented by CSU: Jan. 24, 2010
Cambridge Sports Union will present the first-ever Ski Orienteering event at Weston Ski Track! Ski Orienteering is a combination of cross country ski racing and orienteering — competitors receive a map at the start, and they must find all of the points in the right order as fast as possible. The person with the fastest time wins.


Boston Vasalop Classical Ski Race: Feb. 7, 2010 – 9:30am & 10am
The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce invites you to a True Nordic Tradition, the Boston Vasalop cross-country ski race at Weston Ski Track.
Bring Your Family and Friends — All Levels Welcome! The full Loppet for adults is approximately 5 miles (9 km), and kids' races are 1km and 1/2 km according to age.

A great outdoor event in the cross country tracks including: All-Day Trail Pass, Starting Fee, Blueberry Soup (Blåbärsoppa), Semlor, Hot Dogs, Coffee, Prizes and more!!
