Race for Snow
January 19, 2020 at 9am–3pm, Freestyle 5km
As skiers, we observe the acute effects of climate change each winter, and further damage to the climate would devastate the sport we love. Thus, The Race For Snow is a nordic ski fundraiser for climate change research through the organization 350.org. The race has been conceived, organized, and executed by local high school students for the past three years. This year, the Race For Snow will take place on January 19th at the Weston Ski Track in Weston, MA. There will be events for the entire family, with the first races beginning at 9 AM. This event is a non-fluorinated event. No fluorinated waxes are permitted. Registration is open
