Sue also raced in the World Championships and a number of World Cup races throughout Europe. She finished 11th in a World Cup race in Vsoke Tatry, Czechoslovakia, in March of 1984. In 2003, she won bronze medals in the 10km and 30km classic races at the World Masters Championships in Seefeld, Austria.
Along with her racing experience, Sue has coached a number of junior nordic teams throughout the United States, including working with the U.S. juniors teams that have competed internationally. In 2006, Sue was named to the Professional Ski Instructors of America’s Nordic Development Team.
Currently, Sue is the Ski School Director at Great Glen Trails in Pinkham Notch, NH and fills her winter with teaching lessons to all abilities and age groups. She is known for her incredibly smooth technique — if you've never seen an Olympic skier in-person, it's really breathtaking to see what is possible on skis.
Sue's clinics will focus on raising participants' ski technique through her extensive ski experience and the latest thinking from the U.S. ski team. Clinics are for intermediate skiers who have taken formal instruction and have at least two years skiing experience.
