Barbeque Kayak Tours
from Allston/Brighton and Kendall Square
Start your weekend off right! Enjoy an evening paddling some of the most scenic sections of urban river in the country, followed by
some of the best food the area has to offer. We will start off with an introduction to kayaking, briefly teach the basic strokes, and then launch our double kayaks for a guided paddle on the Charles River. While exploring, your guide will discuss the river's place in Boston and Cambridge history. Upon return to the dock, we will sit down for a barbecue picnic catered by Redbones of Somerville. The tour is offered from two locations: our Boston location on Soldier's Field Road in Allston/Brighton, and our Cambridge location in Kendall Square. From our Boston location you'll experience a less-urban setting, with parkland and Harvard University along the banks. From our Cambridge location you'll enjoy the best skyline view in Boston and explore the lagoons of the Esplanade.
If you enjoy the combination of paddling and great food, you can also try our Barking Crab Tour, a six-hour adventure from Kendall Square into Boston Harbor for a wonderful seafood lunch. |
While not a regularly scheduled event, we are happy to combine the Barbeque Tour with a One-Way Rental from Kendall Square to Allston/Brighton for groups of ten or more. The price for the tour is $90 per person, and we can arrange a return shuttle for $75 per trip (14 passengers/trip). Reservations are required.
Three-Hour Barbeque Tour in Allston/Brighton meets at our Boston location on Soldier's Field Road in Allston/Brighton. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance so we can order food.

Registration & Cancellation Policies for Classes, Trips, and Tours
Full payment is due upon registration for a class, clinic, tour, or trip.
For cancellations received 7 days or more before your scheduled activity, we will issue a refund less a 10% registration fee.
For cancellations received less than 7 days before your scheduled activity, we are unable to offer any refunds.
Participants in all activities will be required to sign a waiver of liability. To save time, you can download this waiver and bring it with you.
Tours may be cancelled due to inclement weather at our option, with a full refund given. No refunds will be offered if we decide to hold the tour.A minimum number of registrants is required for any event to run. If we cancel a trip due to low enrollment, we will provide a full refund.
