Great skyline views, like this one of the Hancock Building and Longfellow Bridge, await paddlers on our Skyline Tours.
Revel in the best view of Boston's skyline — from a kayak on the Charles River! Our Skyline Tours and City Lights Tours begin and end at our T-accessible Kendall Square location.
We'll begin with a quick introduction to kayak strokes, then we'll launch our double kayaks and begin our paddle along the Cambridge shoreline.
After passing the Great Dome of MIT, we'll cross the Charles to the Esplanade, stopping mid-river to take in the skyline, including the Hancock and Prudential Buildings, Citgo Sign, State House Dome, and the Financial District.

Also Consider Our Boston Harbor Tour and Barbeque Tour!
We'll continue our relaxing paddle under the numerous footbridges of Storrow Lagoon. After a break for snacks and non-alcoholic beverages near the Hatch Shell, we'll paddle under the Longfellow ("Salt-and-Pepper") Bridge back to Kendall Square.
Your guide will entertain you with tales of Boston and Cambridge, and information on the history of the area. Paddlers of all abilities are welcome, even those who have never paddled before!
Skyline Tours that run at night are our City Lights Tours, which offer an unparalleled opportunity to see the city lights after dark! Enjoy the relaxation of paddling at night and the spectacle of city lights. See the photo below!
If you are interested in a longer tour that gives you a taste of paddling in Boston Harbor to the U.S.S. Constitution, try our Harbor Tour. Or, if your taste is for heartier fare, try our Barbeque Tour.
Two-Hour Boston Skyline & City Lights Tours meet at our T-accessible Kendall Square location.
$55 for an Adult, including guiding, kayak rental, food, and beverages.
$49 for a Child ages 8 to 15. Each child must be accompanied by one adult.
Registration & Cancellation Policies for Classes, Trips, and Tours
  • Full payment is due upon registration for a class, clinic, tour, or trip.
  • For cancellations received 7 days or more before your scheduled activity, we will issue a refund less a 10% registration fee.
  • For cancellations received less than 7 days before your scheduled activity, we are unable to offer any refunds.
  • Participants in all activities will be required to sign a waiver of liability. To save time, you can download this waiver and bring it with you.
  • Tours may be cancelled due to inclement weather at our option, with a full refund given. No refunds will be offered if we decide to hold the tour.
  • A minimum number of registrants is required for any event to run. If we cancel a trip due to low enrollment, we will provide a full refund.
