XC Ski Racing

Skiers in a ski race. Because our snowmaking and lighting provides consistent skiing conditions and night skiing, Weston Ski Track is home to a vibrant community of cross-country ski racers, including kids, high schoolers, and adults. Read more for details on racing at Weston!
Westonloppet February 4th, 2017
Race as far as you can in 2 hours!  After 2 hours, we close the lap track, and you finish the lap that you are on.  The winner is the person that’s completed the most laps + is 1st over the line if on the same lap at the end. We are looking for a couple of volunteers to help with lap counting. Please send an email to contact@skiboston.com if you can help out with the race. Cost: Free with a season pass or purchase of a trail pass. Registration opens at 2pm and the race starts at 3pm.

The Bay State Games
The Bay State Games are back this year! Freestyle competition at Notchview on March 3rd and 4th, 2017 The competition is open to athletes from Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Vermont. 2k, 5k and 10k races are offered depending on the age group. Multiple divisions are offered starting with 1st grade all the way to masters. More information and to register>>
Free Ski Waxing Clinics
Waxing cross-country skis before a race. Join the waxing experts from TOKO for a 90-minute introduction to ski waxing. Don't miss the special clinic pricing on waxes and accessories including irons, benches, and vices. Beginners and seasoned veterans alike will benefit from these clinics.

High School XC Ski Races
Waxing cross-country skis before a race. Because of our snowmaking and reliable conditions, Weston Ski Track is the center of high school ski racing in Eastern Massachusetts.
Results for each race held at Weston Ski Track will be posted here.
Tuesday Night Race
Each Tuesday night in January, February, and as late in to March as possible, Weston Ski Track holds a mass-start freestyle race open to all. There will again be two waves, the faster skiers at 7:00pm and the slower at 7:30pm. The races are generally between 6km and 8km in length. Annual $25 signup fee plus trail pass/season pass purchase. For newcomers, your first race is free (trail pass required). Register online.
Boston Vasalopp Classical Ski Race
February 12, 2017
Universal Access participants on the snow. Weston Ski Track invites you to a True Nordic Tradition: the Boston Vasalopp cross-country ski race.
This great outdoor event in the cross-country tracks includes: All-Day Trail Pass, Starting Fee, Blueberry Soup (Blåbärsoppa), Semlor, Hot Dogs, Coffee, and more! This is a classical ski race. Skate Skiing is not permitted.
Bring Your Family and Friends — All Levels Welcome! The full Loppet for adults is approximately 5 miles (9 km), and kids' races are shorter (.25k, 1k, 3k, 6k) according to ability.

The event will go on regardless of weather conditions (we make snow!). Register online.
